Hola PARADISE! After spending 1 night in Cartagena, we travel via boat to Islas del Rosario, one of my ALL TIME FAV places in Colombia. 

The Rosario Islands are an archipelago located about 100 km from Cartagena on the Colombia Caribbean coast. We stayed on an island called Isla Grande at an AirBnB called Isla Nasa, and it was truly an unforgettable experience (TAKE ME BAAACK). White sand, sparkling blue waters, hundreds of palm trees, and a secluded resort-like area all to ourselves. 

Aside from relaxing (my favorite past-time), there is SO MUCH TO DO: The Oceanarium is a natural aquarium on Isla de Pajarales filled with dolphins, sharks, and hundreds of other sea species all housed within natural, saltwater pools. 

I went snorkeling for the FIRST TIME EVER! Have you ever been snorkeling? Did you know it’s common to get sea sick while snorkeling? Well, guess who DIDN’T know this? …Yours truly. 

With our own private resort fit with a chef, our own boat tour guide, and a SALTWATER JACUZZI, Islas Del Rosario was by far the highlight of my Colombia trip (which is saying a lot).
